SAN MARCOS (11-07-2018) – Palomar will attempt to avenge an early-season loss when they travel to Southwestern College’s DeVore Stadium on Saturday to square off against the Jaguars in the Beach Bowl.
Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
“Once again, we’ve got our work cut out for us,” said Palomar coach Joe Early, whose team will be shooting to finish the 2018 season with a 7-4 record. “They stuck it to us at the beginning of the year, and they’re a good football team.
“Defensively, we have to limit the big play, and we’ve got to execute on offense.”
It will be the final game as a Comet for Connor Curry, who has been a big play quarterback for Palomar both passing and running the ball, despite a series of injuries.”
Devion Sneed moves in for the Comets as their starting running back, while linebacker Chris Calhoun has led Palomar defensively.
