Tuesday, Nov. 20

EL CAJON VALLEY 3, MADISON 2 – The El Cajon Valley Braves figure to be one of the busiest East County teams early in the girls’ soccer season.

The Braves started things off with a win over Madison on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

Freshman JAZMINE PEREZ scored two goals to kick the season off on the winning note for the Braves.

Senior ALICIA GOMEZ added the other El Cajon Valley score.

Wednesday’s game

CLAIREMONT 6, EL CAJON VALLEY 0 – After a win over Madison on Tuesday, the Braves were shutout by Clairemont.

Thursday’s games

FOOTHILLS CHRISTIAN 2, LIBERTY CHARTER 0 – The Knights knocked off the Lions in a matchup of East County likely playoff contenders in Division 5.

Liberty was playing its season-opener.

BRAWLEY 2, EL CAJON VALLEY 0 – The Braves were shutout for the second-straight game.

Friday’s games

MOUNTAIN EMPIRE 8, TRI-CITY CHRISTIAN 0 – The RedHawks scored six times in the first half.

MOUNT MIGUEL 2, MORSE 2 – The Matadors led 2-1 at halftime.

The Matadors figure as a contender this season in the Division V playoff picture.

Tuesday’s game

CORONADO 4, MOUNTAIN EMPIRE 1 – The RedHawks fell on the long road to the island on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
