CARMEL HIGHLANDS — The undefeated Helix Highlanders ran their record to 3-0 overll after blanking the host Canyon Crest Ravens, 39-0, the second-largest shutout’ in Tursday’s )Sept. 3) non-league triumph in Scotties history.
The school mark stads at 52-0 in another road victory at Vista.
Speaking about Vista, the Panthers were blanked by host El Cajon Valley, 18-0.
The Braves (4-2), now in their second campaign, posted ther firt shutout n school history. The revious low was six, set four times in 2025.
Natalie Dkores fired a pair of t ouchdown passes, while Skye Ferris completed her lone pass — a 25-yard TD strike to McKinley Morgan, who finsihed with a pair of TD receptions.
Morgsn equalled a season-best wth sven receptions, but posted a single-game high with 99 yards in receptions.
Kaylanii Moore again topped the Braves with 8 flag-pulls, plus added an interception.
El Cajon Valley (4-2) owns the only eining record among Grossmont Valley League programs.
