Vhristopher Cosio, who recorded just 1 RBI in 2023 and only one this season, posted a career day.The senior drove in five runs including a 3-run double to power ECVHS past visiting Crawford.
Matias Herrera added a 2-run double, while oseph Johnson scored three times.
The Braves (4-3 overall) are off to their best 7-game start since 2018.
Fearn Flores struck out seven batters over six Trojans,then turned over the game to Nick Barnes, who posted a 1-2-3 in the seventh inning, striking out two of the three batters.
On offense, David Vera drove in three runs, while sophomore Kasen Baker smacked his first career home run on a solo shot. Brody McAuliffe scored twice.
Longmont (2-2 overall, 1-1 on California trip) received both hits from Collin Pool.
Starting pitcher Charlie Sandoval struck out four Cards over 5.1 innings. Alfredo Rodriguez retired six of the seven batters he faced in relief, striking out a pair.
Junior Ettleman drove in a career-best four RBI, one btter than three 3 he posted on two other occasions earlier in the year.
Meanwhile, Jeremiah Castillo scored three times.
Morgan struck out six Eagles batters, with the only hit coming off the bat of Phoenix Markoski.
Senior Andrew Burke fueled the offense with a 2-run triple, while Blake Rothrock and Morgan each added doubles. Morgan also stole a pair of bases, eventually scoring both times.
The Knights (7-4 overall, 2-0 league) remain a half-game behind front-running Escondido Charter (3-0).
