STANDINGS…El Capitan 10-0, Helix 7-3, Granite Hills 7-3, Valhalla 3-7, West Hills 3-7, Santana 0-10.
Friday: In a make-up match that was tacked on to the end of the regular season, El Capitan junior Madison Triplett became the first player in Grossmont Conference history to accumulate 1,000 career kills in the Vaqueros’ sweep of visiting Santana on Senior Night at Foster Gymnasium.
Triplett finished the match with 20 kills, reaching the milestone on the nose when El Cap registered its 23rd point in the final set.
