EL CAJON (12-2-16) — The 45th Annual Grossmont College Basketball Tournament will tip off Friday (Dec. 2) with an 8-team field in a three day event.
The Griffins will open the tournament with a battle against AAU team Balboa Prep at 2 p.m.
The remainder of the first round slate will pit College of the Desert against Los Angeles Southwest at 4 p.m., Palomar versus Moorpark at 6, and San Diego City College against Santa Monica at 8 p.m.
The tournament will continue with the semifinals on Saturday (Dec. 3) with a championship game on Sunday (Dec. 4) at 5 p.m.
