At Spring Valley: In a battle between that were formally just a mile apart beforfe Liberty Charter relocated to Alpine, Mount Miguel saw its first sevn battersof the ballgame reach base and score in a home triumph over the Lions.
Liberty needed just 20 seconds to reach the scoreboard.
On the game’s first pitch, Austin Otero , drillws the ball to the gapfor a leadoffdouble.

However, the Matadors scored 13 unanswered runs, giving them their third win in five outings following an 0-7 start/
For Mount Miguel, Mekhi Yancy stroked a pair of doubles, good for two RBIU while scoring twice.
Also driving in a pair of runs were L. Luna- Ramirez, iego Soto and Dimitrio Lujan,
The five-inning contest ended on a dramatic play at home. On a failed pickoff attempt, A Lions runner attempted to take two baes and score, but the throw to the plate was collected by frosh catcher Yandel Mendoza for the tag out.

Ramona 3, Calexico 2
At Ramona: Another 1-run ballgame means another triumph for the unbeaten Ramona Bulldogs, who moved to 9-0 after scoring twice in their final trip t o the plate to stun the Calexico Bulldogs.
The difference was a 2-run double by Noah Bedia. His hard grounder up the middle rolled all the way to the fence, scoring both Justin Jarrett (double) and Cal Melendez two-out walk).
Ramona pitcher Alex Wilson then completed his 3-inning stint of perfect relief, retiring all nine of the Calexico batters he faced, Wilson struck out six.
Five of the Dawgs’ last seven victories have come by single marker, including a pait of 1-0 decisions, plus another in extra innings.
Calexico managed just a pair of basehits all afternoon, but four Ramona errors gace the visitors the lead… until the sixth inning.
The other Ramona run came in the third on a RBI ground out by Zach . Nightingale. But Calexico immediately answered with two runs in the fourth, both unearned.
