OCEANSIDE — Mission Vista pitcher Santino Arvizu yielded just one hit to the undefeated Ramona, but the Bulldogs pitcher Noah Bedia did just a touch better.

The lone ran came across even before Bedia took the mound.

In the Dawgs’ first trip to the plate, Derek Taylor reached base on a one-out error by the T-Wolves second baseman, moving to second base on a wild throw. Taylor later stole third, then after a strikeout, Ramona clean-up batter Justin Jarrett reached hen the left fielder dropped a fly ball — the sun field is in right (not left).

The lone Bulldogs hit saw Colton Simpson slam a two-out double to left in the sixth. Ramona gambled and send Farrett home based of the earlier indiscretion by the defender, but he fired a strike to the plate to register the third out.

Still, no problem for Bedia, who closed the ballgame with a 1-2-3 in the seventh.Ramona remains perfect at 8-0 overall, posting its fourth 1-run
