LAKESIDE (7-25-15) — Longtime El Capitan standout JESSICA CABLE has taken the girls basketball head coaching position at El Capitan.
Cable has stretched her talent currently to include a stint with the San Diego Surge women’s tackle football team. In other words, she is a hard-nosed player. She will participate in Saturday’s (July 25) contest versus the Dallas Elite in the WFA American Conference semifinals.
A left tackle on the gridiron, Cable will be assisted on the basketball court by DARIN CURTIS.
“I played for Darin so I know what he expects from our players,” Cable said. “But it’s exciting having my own team in that I can coach with my own style.”
A 2003 El Capitan graduate, Cable played at Grossmont College for two years.
