Helix up to second, Christian drops to ninth

The latest San Diego Union-Tribune Sportswriters/Sportscasters prep football poll was released earlier on Monday with a few notable changes.  With their win on Friday, the Highlanders moved up one spot to second.  On the contrary, after traveling to Los Angeles and losing to Salesian, the Christian High Patriots dropped two spots to ninth.  Grossmont picked up one more vote in the also receiving votes category.  Below is the full top ten and all the teams that received votes.

Games on Friday that will see East County teams that are on the list include a big match up of No. 8 Cathedral Catholic traveling to No. 2 Helix.  No. 9 Christian will take a week off before getting back at it next week.  Grossmont will travel to Hilltop.
