SANTEE (2-28-16) — In front of a semi-big crowd Saturday (Feb 27) night, the No. 5-seeded Vincent Memorial Scots were able to come away with a 65-53 victory over the No. 4-seeded Santana Sultans in San Diego CIF Division IV quarterfinals action in the Sultan Palace out in Santee.

Things looked good early on for the Sultans as they were able to control the game action en route to an early 14-8 lead after the first period.  However things changed for the Sultans as the Scots made some adjustments and raced their way to a convincing 22-7 taking of the second period to lead by 9 points at the break, 30-21.
