EL CAJON (12-11-16) — The Foothillers lost to San Marcos 55-37 in the Game On Challenge on Grossmont’s flashy new floor.
The Foothillers’ problem was that nobody reached double-digit scoring as the Foothillers fell to 2-4.
“We just have to keep working,” said Foothillers coach FRANK FOGGIANO. “We’re not going to throw in the towel.”
DAMAGEAE GANT scored a season-high 8 points, as did MYKOL RODRIGUEZ.
DOMONIQUE GUEVARA led Grossmont on the boards, collecting 8 caroms.
Next up the Foothillers will host the Grossmont Winter Classic when they will face Escondido at 7:30.
