RANCHO SAN DIEGO (2-2-17) — In a rain make-up postponed from Jan. 20, West Hills overpowered Steele Canyon 59-13 on Wednesday (Feb. 1) in a Grossmont Hills League game.
JESSICA FONDAS-RYAN paced the Wolf Pack with 19 points, while CARLY RALEY tossed in 14 points and KERRIE DANIELS added 12.
“It was a good night, all girls got a lot of quality minutes,” said Wolf Pack coach RYAN KINSER.
“West Hills is a very good team, fundamentally sound,” said Steele Canyon coach PETER RUIZ. “Nobody, from either team, went to the free throw line tonight. About half my squad was missing – one was on a class field trip and three more were sick.”
West Hills: Jessica Fondas-Ryan 19, Carly Raley 14, Kerrie Daniels 12, Vivian Panela 7, Caitlyn Stayner 3, Maya Clemons 2, Cassie Seaboch 2.
Steele Canyon: Natalie Snyder 5, Laezhane Mason 2, Tayanna Mason 2, Marianna Martinez 2, Makayla McCarthy 2.
