SANTEE – The Granite Hills Eagles defeated San Diego Academy, 74-51, in a Sultan Shootout game at Santana High Monday night.
Senior XSAVIER SMITH had 22 points, 10 rebounds, five steals, four assists and two blocked shots for Granite Hills, which improved to 4-2.
Eagles senior MOSES SMITH returned after being sidelined with an injury and scored 15 points.
Granite Hills’ shooters looked good, as well, as senior RAY CUERO added 12 points, while Sophomore MCKAY ROBERTS had nine points.
The Eagles are off until the day after Christmas, when they will travel to Las Vegas for the Vegas Invitational at Mountain View High School.
Granite Hills will face St. Joseph’s, of Santa Maria, on Dec. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
