EL CAJON (2-17-17) — DOMANIC SAFARTA poured in 18 points and JACKSON LARSEN added 15 as Christian High celebrated Senior Night with a 78-54 Central League romp over visiting Crawford on Thursday (Feb. 16).
Christian put the game on ice in the second quarter by saddling the Colts 27-10 to lead 41-22 at halftime.
From there it was smooth sailing for the Patriots, who finished the regular season tied for third with University City at 8-4 in the Central League race. The Patriots were 19-9 overall.
DANIEL WELCH came up strong with 14 points and 8 rebounds for Christian, as 10 Patriots scored in the contest.
Christian’s two seniors – NOAH MEEK and JAKE SCARBROUGH combined for eight points.
The Patriots are ticketed for the postseason, slotted around the No.6 or No. 7 seed in Division 3.
